One of the key aspects of KIS Haircare is the Keratin Infusion Treatment, a repairing treatment that consists of 5 steps. This treatment helps you provide your customers with the best possible and unique service. The treatment restores the moisture/protein balance – i.e. the quality – of the hair in about 15 minutes, and prepares it for possible subsequent chemical treatment. That way you create a healthy basis that will ensure that colors and perms retain their color longer.
The treatment adds hair proteins, which are equal to those in human hair, to the hair. These proteins have a molecular weight of 150, which makes that they can penetrate deep into the hair and cling to the hair’s core permanently. But how can we determine what exactly the hair needs, and what steps are required to give the hair what it needs? Your knowledge of protein and moisture are the starting point here. Our advice? Do the tensile strength test!
Step 1 Cleansing Volume Shampoo
Wash the hair thoroughly and let the shampoo set for 2-3 minutes (the crackling sound indicates that the shampoo is removing foreign substances from the hair). Subsequently rinse the hair and dry it with a towel.
Step 2 KeraBoost Infusion
(perfect before coloring or perming hair)
Spray onto towel dry hair 15 x, do not rinse.
Step 3 KeraMax Treatment
Apply an abundant quantity of the product to the hair and let it set for 3-5 minutes, rinse it out well, and dry the hair with a towel.
Tip: Also perform a tensile strength test after step 3 of the Keratin Infusion Treatment. This will tell you whether steps 2&3 have to be repeated to further restore the natural moisture/protein balance.
After step three a chemical treatment can be applied!
Step 4 KeraBalance Acidifier
(perfect after a color or perm)
Apply a small amount on toweldry hair, apply evenly and comb it into the hair with a fine-tooth comb. Let it set for 3-5 minutes, rinse carefully and dry with a towel.
Step 5
Leave-In Protector
Take some product in your hand, a blob the size of a pearl. Make your other hand wet and rub both hands together and apply to the hair. Do not rinse.
